Yesterday afternoon, we went out to the Women’s Power Luncheon, put together by the ladies of GirlMuch.com & Executees Inc. It was a great event full of amazing women.
The luncheon was put together by Briea Chanel and Katelyn Taylor. They brought some great people out to Chicago Party Animals. The event was sponsored by Executees.net, GirlMuch.com, It Girl Files and LF Promo. There were also some awesome vendors there selling beautiful makeup, jewelry and clothing. They were Sugar & Spikes, The Lip Station, Outfit 101, Adorned by Glenda and our featured clothing line and sponsor, Fashion Misfits.
After some food, drink, and mingling, the luncheon began with a performance by singer Gregory Stewart who gave a great rendition of New Birth’s Wild Flower. After this Briea and Katelyn introduced the host, Actress/Singer Drew Sidora and the members of the luncheon’s panelists. The ladies on the panel were singer/songwriter Tony Romiti, owner of Pear Nova Nail Lacquer, Rachel Leigh, celebrity make-up artist and star of Chicagolicious, Austin Maxfield, and WGCI host & owner of The Lip Station, Demi Lobo.
After some great opening words from Drew Sidora and introductions from each of the panelists, the floor was opened up for questions. The women spoke about their motivation, passions, transitioning from a 9 to 5 to owning your own business, and using social media. After these insightful words, all of the ladies mingled and networked. Intellectual Radio was there reporting live and conducting interviews.
It was an all-around great event and we had the opportunity to meet some great women. We would like to thank Briea Chanel and Katelyn Taylor for inviting us out and being such gracious hosts. Everybody go to girlmuch.com and executees.net and check them out.
