Last night we went out to the AT&T store on North Michigan Avenue for the Vic Mensa Summer of Collaborations event. It was a private event that gave everybody the opportunity to experience Vic Mensa in the heart of the magnificent mile.
WGCI was in the building as DJ Hot Sauce on the turntables. Leon Rogers was on the mic to emcee the event. Coca Cola reps were in attendance handing out tasty beverages as the crowd moved around admiring AT&T’s phones, tablets, & other merchandise as well as slideshows set up around the store. The entire experience was an attempt to form collaboration not only between the sponsors & Vic Mensa, but between the North & South sides. All people moved around mingling & waiting anxiously.
Finally Vic Mensa came out & gave a very rousing performance. After performing a couple of hits, he left the stage to mix with the media & fans. There was a meet & greet where fans were able to meet & take photos with Vic. It was a great event on a beautiful night. It doesn’t get much better than that. Shout out to Vic Mensa for bringing it back home & performing for the people. We would also like to say thank you to AT&T, Coca Cola, WGCI, & last but never least Briahna Gatlin & Swank PR.
