This past Friday, Chicago RedEye held their annual The Big Idea Awards at Chop Shop in Wicker Park. The Big Idea Awards are Chicago RedEye’s way of making dreams come true for Chicago’s BIGGEST dreamers through categories such as: Food & Drink, Art & Design, Technology and Community Involvement & Civic Engagement. This year’s winners are: Karl Steltenpohl & Frank Pope (Technology), Anthony Sturdivant (Community), Erin Diehl (Art & Design), and Rickie Perez (Food & Drink).

Sturdivant, creator of the Think Before You Shoot campaign/organization also known as #TB4YS. #TB4YS was created to show the importance of how one person’s decisions can prevent gun violence through short film.
