Well good people, yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday but for strange reason it didn’t really feel much like a Super Bowl. First off, we would like to congratulate the Seattle Seahawks on their victory against the Denver Broncos. 43-8 was a pretty amazing defeat in the National Football League.
The Super Bowl is known for more than just the final game of the NFL season, it’s also known for its halftime performances and commercials. This year’s halftime performance was provided by Bruno Mars with guest appearances from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. We must admit, Bruno gave an amazing performance throughout his segment. Had the entire stadium out of their seats. Definitely wasn’t a dull moment during his entire performance.
Now for the commercials:
Simply Brown: I was actually shocked that there wasn’t too many commercials that actually stood out. A lot of the commericals were commercials that we see on a regular basis. The one that probably widen my eyes the most was the one with David Beckham in the H&M commercial. Lets just say that soccer does that man and his body very good.
K: The standout commercials for me was the Maserati commercial with Quvenzhane Wallis, who I love, I don’t remember what car Terry Crews was advertising, but the commercial was cute, and Ellen’s commercial because I really love Ellen. The commercials, like the game, were disappointing overall. Way too serious. Last year’s commercials were funnier.
Below is footage of the halftime show & a photo gallery of the best pics, memes, & tweets that we saw. The tweets & memes were far better than the game. Congratulations again to the SeaHawks. Special shoutout to Russell Wilson, only the 2nd black quarterback ever to win it, the MVP Malcolm Smith, & our man Richard Sherman.
