Just when you were getting accustom to making 15 seconds videos via Instagram, Instagram has FINALLY gone from 15 seconds to a one minute, real quick. Yes, you’re now able to record & post videos that’s a minute long – if you’re #TeamiPhone at the moment. No need to crop, talk fast, or even speed up your videos as much as you use to anymore – a minute video is more than enough time to get your point across.
Followers/viewers are now able to get the full effect of whatever it is that you decide to make a video of without “being rushed” in a sense. It’s almost seems that Instagram has now allowed everyone to create mini commercials – hopefully everyone’s one minute videos are appropriate & serve some type of purpose. I discovered my first one-minute video via @kingkeraun which I’m sure you’ll find entertaining as well (see below).
As far as the whole Post Notifications issue – still not exactly sure about that one. Feel free to turn on specific individuals’ post notifications if you would like, it’s still unclear if it’s required at the moment.
Longer video on Instagram begins rolling out today and will be available for everyone in the coming months. Multi-clip video is available this week as part of Instagram for iOS version 7.19 in Apple’s App Store.
