Last night was the season premiere of Uncle Buck on ABC. Once discovering who the cast of Uncle Buck would be, I automatically knew this show would be very entertaining. And I was right.
For starters, Uncle Buck’s character is played by Mike Epps; therefore you already know it’s hilarious. Basically, Buck is unemployed & lives with his girlfriend Jackie – well his girlfriend at the time I should say. Jackie, played by Regina King wants him to get a job & be the man that she wants him to be. But Buck has found a whole different route to take in life.
Buck has a very successful brother, Will that recently moved to Chicago from Atlanta with his family. Will, played by James Lesure & his wife, Cindy, played by Nia Long are both very busy with their careers that makes it difficult for them to always be around to fully care for their three children; Tia, Miles & Maizy. Now the three children aren’t terrible but they do have a tendency to test others especially the two younger ones Miles & Maizy. Not to mention Tia, who is a teenager & is currently going through the whole “teenage phase”. Most couldn’t seem to handle the job & left Will & Cindy no other choice but to call on Uncle Buck.
With the children being raised in a more Suburban area, there’s certain things & situations they aren’t exactly aware of or even too familiar with. Luckily they have a Uncle Buck who has their back & they have his back even if they all tend to end up in situations that could possibly get them in trouble with their parents, if caught.
Uncle Buck premieres on ABC on Tuesdays at 9/8c – I’ll definitely be tuning in. What were your thoughts on the premiere of Uncle Buck?
