Yesterday was the 2nd episode of the new reality TV series, Flex & Shanice. This is one show that keeps it all the way real. There’s absolutely no sugar-coating. If anything on the show is scripted, it’s very minor things that were created for entertainment purposes only.
I find the show extremely interesting. Flex & Shanice openly discuss their financial problems that they have encountered after the success of their careers. You can only respect them for that and take notes. Not only is Shanice back in the studio working on new music but after firing her mother as her manager, she has to pretend to be her own. Flex is doing a few stand up gigs every now and then but works at a warehouse at night, which I believe is just temporarily until things pick up. The house that they are currently residing in isn’t just full of Knoxs. Shanice’s mother (Crystal), step father (Mike), uncle (Uncle Spirit), cousin (Ruba), Flex’s cousin (Ed), Flex & Shanice’s two kids, (Imani & Elijah) all live under the same roof. With 9 people living under one roof, there isn’t a dull moment.
We’ll definitely be tuning in on Saturdays at 10/9c on OWN TV to witness Flex & Shanice overcome their trials & tribulations with themselves and their family.
