Last night was the season 5 premiere of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop. We were under the impression that this season would be a very predictable season since a lot of the cast members made a few huge announcements publicly before the season aired. Erica Mena shocked the world announcing her engagement with Bow Wow (Shad Moss, if you want to be politely correct). Amina and Peter had already revealed their baby girl. Yandy and Mendeecees announced that Mendeecees was released from jail and that the two are expecting a baby girl. We knew that already but Mona Scott-Young still made a way to have her loyal viewers to continue to tune in.
Simply Brown: Erica Mena and Cyn are pretty much wrapping up their relationship which will lead to her new engagement. Rich Dollaz claim he has talked to Erica or isn’t even thinking about her but for some apparent reason, he continues to mention her. Maybe Rich really doesn’t want to let Erica leave him that easy. He did set her up with Chrissy knowing that the two doesn’t get alone at all and have a questionable past. Chrissy is in a relationship with Chink who is currently separated and ‘waiting for the right time to divorce her wife’. Speaking of wives, with Amina being 5 months pregnant on the show, she wants Peter to get things squared a way with Tara so that all of Peter’s children will have a relationship with each other and her. Of course Tara isn’t going for any of that, she’s still hurt by the pain that Peter has caused her. Peter doesn’t make things much easier for her by still flirting with Tara and admitting he’s still in love with her but is really with Amina because of their baby girl but it’s gone become a challenge trying to be a father in two different households in his situation. Yandy and Mendeecees warmed my heart instantly from the moment Mendeecees was released from prison to the moment he surprised his oldest son at the park. I totally disagree with Diamond’s discussion of leaving family especially her child in LA while she pursue her dreams and man, Cisco who admitted that he’s not the same Cisco she’s use to when we visits LA.
K: The only couple I truly care to see is. Yandy & Mendeecees. I love them & their whole little family. Peter Gunz still clearly hadn’t changed still trying to get with Tara. Amina, bless her heart, just seems to want to be loved. That whole situation is still just crazy. I don’t care too much about Rich Dollaz. Erica, I don’t even know. She’s just Erica I guess. I did find it interesting that former professional baseball player, Darryl Strawberry’ s daughter was on the show. Her whole situation with Cisco promises to be a mess. I am already not find of Chrissy. She just seems to be loud & wrong. It was tripped out seeing Chink Santana. Haven’t heard about him in years. That’s all I really remember happening. You watch Love & Hip Hop & you pretty much know what to expect. We’ll see how it plays out.
