It appears that when one athlete leave the courtroom, another one enters. The two most recent athletes, NBA players of course, who has been playing in an unwilling game of support with their ex wives are; Miami Heat player, Dwayne Wade and former Philadephia Sixers player, Allen Iverson. I actually find it ironic how the two share the same number 3 and dealing with some of the same problems in the courtroom.
Dwayne Wade, better known as D.Wade, married his highschool sweetheart, Siohavaughn, which resulted to the two having two children. Allen Iverson, better known as A.I., also married is then wife, Tawanna, which resulted to the two having five children. All that’s typical, marrying your soul mate and starting a family. That’s actually a cute and wonderful thing to do. They all get applaud for that. But unfortunately some times all things come to an end. And that’s okay and all but it’s important to handle the situation as two adults especially when children are involved.
Siohavaughn took their divorce a little to the extreme by sitting in front of courtrooms with signs and suing everyone who’s affiliated with D.Wade. I don’t knock her for wanting to keep the same lifestyle that she was accustomed to but its a thing called dignity that she should have about herself, at all times. Or at least for the kids sake.
Tawanna is really asking for her child support to be paid all at once. Maybe she don’t trust A.I. and thinks that he’s not good for the money in the future especially with rumors surfacing that he’s broke. Maybe she’s right about waiting it all in a lump sum, maybe she bogus for not wanting to go about things the way they were intended.
Is it right for the ex wives to try to get everything that these professionals ball players earned and worked hard for? Are these ex wives entitled to it all? Who knows? What you think? Talk Ish…
