“Baby, I get sick of you…you’re that same ol tune…I don’t ever wanna hear you again…why are you a delight to skip…I wanna be deaf to it…can I turn my ears off? (Sugar Symphony)”
Parkwood Entertainment’s young sister act, the lovely Chloe & Halle Bailey have just released their EP, Sugar Symphony. It is as sweet as the name.
The EP is very delicate & beautiful. From the vocal stylings to the production, it is textured & well-balanced. The ladies blend so well together & though they are a duo, you can detect the subtle differences in both their voices & their individual identities. The teens sing about love in a youthful & playful way. Although they have been singing on the internet for years, this EP feels like a proper introduction to their music stylings. No more covers of other musician. Their own artistry is on full display. From the opening of Drop to the glorious closing track Fall, these ladies show why they are Beyoncé’s young golden girls.
