Last night was the season premiere of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. We’re going to jump right into it, giving you both of our thoughts about the relationships on the show.
Teairra Mari & Ray J
Simply Brown: Who would have known that Teairra Mari and Ray J were even together at some point in time. Although the two are broken up, it’s still hard for Teairra to let go. Apparently she really love her some Ray J and it’s quite obvious that Ray J still care about her, maybe Teairra should receive anger management or just start doing a little dating. Ray J obviously going to have a lot of drama this season between Teairra and his current girlfrield, Princess.
K: This relationship just looks a mess. It looks like two people that probably never should have gotten together is now dealing with the aftermath. The way we have seen Ray J throughout the years & how Teairra is acting on the show is two people who should barely be in the same room, let alone in the same relationship. Clearly, Teairra is going to be the tazmanian devil of this little series. And Ray J is gonna be Ray J, which is a mess per usual. I don’t think Teairra was wrong at the party though. Ray J’s girlfriend was asking for it. But Teairra is gonna be the Chrissy/K. Michelle/Joseline of the group.
Soulja Boy & Nia
Simply Brown: I don’t care how many tattoos Soulja Boy gets, how much money he’s making, how many clubs he attend in a week. He still appears as “Crack Dat” Soulja Boy to me. He doesn’t appear to be that much more mature, so dating Nia may be out of his league especially since she keeps stressing the issue of taking their relationship serious this time. They tired before but Nia claims the hype from all the fame had gotten to Soulja Boy and he couldn’t take their relationship serious. Well from the outside looking in, it appears much still hasn’t really changed. He’s still young and enjoying his life as an artist without any obligations/responsibilities in it.
K: They seem cool, though it’s throwing me off because it seems like he was just with Diamond. Still, it never goes well when one of the people on the relationship is trying to change the other. Nia is going to be battling that one, & I don’t see her winning.
Omarion & Apryl
Simply Brown: For some strange reason, I just feel like Momma O (Omarion’s mother) should have been included in the caption lol. Now Omarion and Apryl have a cute relationship especially since they’re expecting their first child together. But apparently Omarion’s mother wants him all to herself which is causing Omarion to have to go back and forth with the two. There has been a few momma’s boys on different seasons of Love & Hip Hop but it’s looking like Omarion is the “King” alright, the king of the Momma’s Boys.
Fizz & Moniece
Simply Brown: I applaud Fizz for stepping up to the plate and doing what needs to be done for his son. According to Fizz, Moniece is crazy. It’s gonna be a headache for Fizz to move forward when he still has someone trying to “popping up” as Moniece did at his studio session and didn’t fully want to have a conversation with him, which was suppose to be her purpose of going up there. Hopefully things get better, but then again this is Love & Hip Hop.
K: Fizz seems like a good father. He & Moniece are gonna have to figure something out. I don’t see them doing it though because he’s over it & I don’t really know what her deal is, but whichever she needs to pull it together for her son. The new girlfriend dynamic will prove interesting.
Although Hazel E came into the show as a friend/roomate to Teairra, she’s also “involved” with Yung Berg; however, Yung Berg as well as Masika, Nikki “Baby” and Jamal “Mally Mal” weren’t in episode one but just from the previews, we already know they’re bringing that Stevie/Joseline drama back…times two.
Well we talked our ish and will continue to talk it via Twitter (@canitalkmyish2) on Monday nights. Talk yours. What you think of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood?
