This season of Love & Hip Hop has been very eventful to say the least. Alot of it was pretty much the same as last season, but there were some changes. The main points to me were the Kirk/Rasheeda & Stevie J/Joseline storylines.
Kirk, Kirk Kirk, what the hell? That whole situation was just despicable. How do you treat your wife like that? There is no excuse for what he did. The thing that really bothered me is that I feel like so many people have similar attitudes in their relationships. When your significant other does what you don’t like you start acting like a monkey. Like it’s some type of game or war. Kirk felt like he was gonna show her something. He found what he felt was a valid excuse & showed his ass.
Ultimately it’s about the love you have for your mate. If it ever gets to the point where you feel like you want something outside of your relationship, move on. Leave it alone. Don’t play games or try to be sneaky. Either you want it or you don’t. If Kirk wasn’t happy he should’ve either worked on his relationship or let it go. But he’d rather embarrass his wife on national TV.
Then there’s Stevie J. He’s just a special brand. His attitudes towards women & relationships are gross to say the least. He really thinks he’s God’s gift to women. He really feels like he’s doing these women a favor by being in their lives. Like his presence is a present. His arrogance is astonishing.
Now Joseline, I really like you girl. You are really funny. But for whatever reason, when it comes to Stevie, you just look a fool. Stevie keeps showing you who he is & what he wants & it’s like you’re in denial. You’re not gonna change Stevie. It’s not gonna happen.
Just a few things I must speak on.
Kirk, you really need to stop putting your twitter on all of your clothes. It’s pitiful.
Momma Dee, i don’t know where you got this notion of a kingdom, but you gotta chill. Especially with that weave you got. That confession weave made you look like Sho Nuff.
Erica is really smart. I like most of what she says.
I loved when Mimi said that Stevie is only committed to his penis & his money. That is him through & through.
There is nothing wrong with a woman proposing, but i do think Joseline was goofy for doing it. It’s Steebie.
And i love K. Michelle’s toast. Safe sex & paychecks. She better put that on a tshirt.
Oh & i do believe you can be addicted to weed.
This season has been crazy. The dramatic interludes, the incessant need to make people like each other, just the mess. My fascination with the show is just amusement at how these people portray themselves. I can’t wait for the reunion.
Mona Scott Young is a genius. I can’t even be mad at her. I’m very curious to see where this is going. What do you think?
