Today is President Obama’s birthday. I love my president. Do I agree with everything he does? No. Do I wish he would push more on certain things? Yes. But I wouldn’t trade him.
So today I want to take out the time to pay tribute to his life. I’ve read Dreams of My Father and I think it is amazing that he’s made it to these heights considering that throughout high school and the beginning of college he was confused and too chill for his own good. E
Eventually he did get focused and realize what his passion was. He started out as a community organizer working with the people in the projects of Chicago’s south side. From there he went back to school, became the first black president of the Harvard Review and went on to become a lawyer, where he met his beautiful wife. He also taught at the University of Chicago.
I salute President Obama. I do not envy him at all. I would not like to have over 300 million people, many of which didn’t want him to succeed to begin with, looking to me to solve their problems. So I definitely believe he needs to be acknowledged for having one of the hardest jobs there is. Happy Birthday President Obama!
Below we have pictures throughout President Obama’s life, from a child with his late mother up through his adult years and of course his presidency.
