We were fortunate enough to talk ish with Singer…Rayven Justice!!! Rayven Justice is a R&B singer that’s definitely on the rise. He has already performed at KMEL’S Annual Summer Jam,been featured on Revolt TV and represents The Bay area to the fullest! Lets get to know Rayven Justice…
3 Voices: Introduce yourself to the world. Let the people know who Rayven Justice is and what Rayven Justice does.
Rayven Justice: My name is Rayven Justice. I’m a singer…I’m from Oakland, California that’s really just tryna make a statement to the people, that have a dream…that it can become possible if you put your mind to it and have dedication.
3 Voices: What inspired you to become a singer? Who are some artists that have influenced your music career?
Rayven Justice: My dad always had me around music and in studios when I was a kid. The inspiration came from a group called, “The Pack” out of the Bay area…and Chris Brown. And the reason why I say that is because The Pack represented three young guys from the Bay and just the representation of them inspired me and [along with] being from the Bay. And with Chris Brown, just being a young dude…he was in high school at the time with swag and the fame and that inspired me as well.
3 Voices: Describe your music style. What’s some of the things you typically sing about?
Rayven Justice: I honestly sing about everything…currently I’ve been singing more about my lifestyle as far as being from Oakland…the Bay. Of course every area has their own phrases and slang; I’m basically interrupting the way we talk…just specific words and phrases we use out in the Bay and making a song of it. Giving the world a taste of where I’m from.
3 Voices: You have quite a few singles out and features you are a part of. Who are your top three artists, dead or alive that you would or would have like to collaborate on a song with?
Rayven Justice: Tupac, being number one…that’s my favorite rapper. Chris Brown of course. And…Michael Jackson.
3 Voices: You were a performer at the 106.1 KMEL Summer Jam. What was that experience like? What was your favorite part during being a performer?
Rayven Justice: Summer Jam basically meant a lot to me because my brother was murdered three years ago. Sometime before he got murdered, we were at a Summer Jam and this was right when Chris Brown was at the top of his [success]…when he came out with ‘Run It’ and I told my brother, ‘we never coming back to another Summer Jam until we’re on the stage’. And that was like me and his goal and dream to do the…Summer Jam. When he got murdered it just gave me inspiration to complete our dream and goal, so Summer Jams just mean a whole lot to me, more than the average artist. It was like a promise I wanna keep for him. By doing that was overwhelming and like a dream come true.
3 Voices: Since you have several singles out as mentioned before, what’s the one single that’s almost a must for you to perform when you’re on stage?
Rayven Justice: My current single right now that I’m mostly performing that is out and doing its thang we about to resurface to the world is “Slide Thru”. The remix is featuring the Amigos.
3 Voices: What’s next for Rayven Justice? Are there any exclusives that you can share with us?
Rayven Justice: Next, I’m shooting the video with the Amigos this weekend in LA for my single. We are finna push it out to all the radio stations…we finna put it on all TV sites/ TV channels as far as Revolt and etc. Soon to be signed to a major…just more and more historical things in store as far as music goes, collaborations…and I have a new mixtape coming out on my birthday, August 13th. So that’s going to be dope. We just working.
