Last night the 3rd season of Catfish premiered. Per usual alot was going on. Obviously alot of deception & guessing.
Catfish is a very suspenseful show. In last night’s episode, a guy named Craig had been in a relationship with a girl named Zoe, pronounced Zo, for a few years. He met her through his sister, who had met her through a friend. Nobody involved had ever actually contacted her in person. Craig was in love with her, but she always flaked on meeting him, of course. She also tormented him & the people around him on Facebook. She forced him to give her all his passwords & hacked his accounts, leaking pictures of girls through his Facebook. A whole town knew of her without ever seeing her.
Through research Nev & Max poked holes in her story. Eventually they tracked her through her family, finding her real account & her address. They traveled to her home & confronted her. Initially she played nonchalant & did not really apologize. Craig tried to talk to her, but she wouldn’t budge. Eventually she broke down to Nev & Max with the usual sob story about being bullied & seeking vengeance online. Blah blah blah, it was over.
The episode was okay, but the best part to me is always live tweeting with my Twitter timeline. The commentary is always hilarious. I could really just read my timeline & be cool. But I guess I’ll be back next week, hopefully it’ll be a good one.
