To most, money is the problem solver for any problems that a person may have occurred. If you want some excitement in your life, go out and do something exciting but in order for you to be able to do something exciting, it’s gone to cost you some money, right? Some of you are reading this and saying, “not necessarily”. While typically when you’re going out to a special event, you want to look nice, but in order for you to look nice, you have to go out and purchase something nice to wear, right? While for those of you that’s being stubborn probably saying, “I’ll wear something in my closet”. FYI, in order for it to get in your closet, you have to buy it at some point in time. My point is, as long as you have the funds to purchase things, you’re more likely to do things that may make you happy. Whenever you ask a friend or family member to go out with you or just simply do anything, the first thing he or she say is, “if I had some money”. It has gotten to the point where it can be a place that doesn’t charge one dime to enter such as the park or library and you’ll still get that “I don’t have any money right now” excuse. It never fails. But what about when you do have some money and I’m talking millionaire money like Floyd Mayweather, Dr. Dre after he sold Beats By Dre, Oprah Winfrey type money. Would you be happy then?
Of course, it’ll feel good to be able to buy whatever you want or think you might want. To be able to buy your dream car, a huge house, all the luxury things, all the expensive things, traveling all over the world…who wouldn’t want to live that type of life. But would you be really happy deep down inside? You’ll probably have all the “friends” in the world but how many would actual be a real true friend? How many could you actually say like you for you? Notorious BIG said it best, “Mo Money, Mo Problems”. Yeah, money can make your financial problems go away but most of your emotional and physical problems only can be resolved within yourself. Those same millionaires you see on TV living the fantasy life you dream of probably have way more problems than you. I’m sure there are a tons of millionaires that wish there was a store to purchase true happiness like finding a true soulmate, spending time with family whenever you like, and even able to walk down in public in peace sometimes…simple things of that nature. You lose many of those privileges because you have to spend a lot of your time completing tasks in order for you to remain a millionaire…”it pays a cost to be the boss”.
I don’t believe money can buy you happiness, but it can make things better for you especially financially. Money is able to remove financial problems but what about your emotional and physical ones? Share your thoughts, what do you believe? I just talked my ish, talk yours.
