Yesterday afternoon we went out to the Black Enterprise Experience at Society Art Gallery presented by Boxed Up Hype Events. It was a great, positive event.
As a great addition to Black History Month, Boxed Up Hype Events brought together several black owned businesses to network & promote themselves. CEO Deja Sanders & CBO Ariana Taylor put together this amazing event where people were able to learn about & sample from these great businesses. The event was free to the public. There was music, free refreshments, & great vendors to learn about. The event was djed by DJ Diggs. There was a performance by rapper/baker Real T@lk & a demonstration of the intense workout EB30X.
The vendors in attendance were Hoop Lyfe, which is founded & owned by Society Art Gallery owner Nikki Burnett, Sweet Blooms Cupcakes, Sororitique, Chique Edge, Kiwi’s Boutique, Ngozi Agomo, Old Skool Cookies, Exotic Knockouts, Jordy Cakes, Lady C’s Creations, Real T@lk, Makeup by Jerlicia, Sovereign Education Corps, A. Nicole Resume Writing, EB30X workout, Bedroom Kandi, Body By Hollywood, Maya Makes Art, Shu Junkies, & Battery Giant. All of these vendors were incredible. The event was sponsored by the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, Chicago Sky, Lou Malnatis, Desi’s Salon, & Target.
